Fall Fandango 2007
The traveling volunteers of Anywhere Wild! arrived in Modoc County and found that the weather in the high desert is very unpredictable. Dark clouds were forming over the mountains and as we traveled from Ft. Bidwell to Cedarville, snow flakes fell. Upon arrival in Cedarville to drive residents of Surprise Valley Community Hospital, we expected most of them would not be willing to brave the cold, but out they came in heavy jackets and carrying warm blankets. Many had ridden the previous year and welcomed us back. Undaunted by the weather, we drove them until they retired for their naps. Photo Credit: John Fazel
